La Nursery is the latest development for children day-care in the premises of Planet Discovery, Children Science Museum located in Beirut souks, the center of Beirut.
In our culture, we believe that children’s experiences in their early years have a great impact on their future. Therefore, it is important that they get the best attention and support to prepare them to start their lives.
Our mission is to help children socialize, develop their emotional abilities and broaden their intellectual spirit in a secure and comfortable environment. We aim at providing a multidisciplinary and balanced curriculum through daily activity programs which are focused on increasing children self-confidence, independence and creativity
Children education requires applying different personalized philosophical and pedagogical theories, along with personal care and follow-up.
Our program is a mix of what suits our children in Lebanon from the Montessori, Freinet, Cousinet, Meirieu and Winnicott methods.
Kids will learn while staying free as per Montessori and Freinet theories. To make sure our kids grow properly, we will follow Cousinet in its children emotional development, Meirieu findings in cognitive development and kids’ autonomy, and Winnicott for a balanced parents/children relationship.
In La Nursery, parents are vital members of our specialized team. The continuous communication among us will build mutual trust and parents will contribute in integrating children in a positive mindset. Children in our nursery are also assigned a professional teacher who will become their main caregiver. The successful partnership will ensure that children feel secure, valued and welcomed in La Nursery
